1. What is Digital Learning Course Certification? Why is it necessary?
- The Ministry of Education has established a digital learning certification system to ensure the quality of digital learning.
- Certification of digital learning courses is also one of the required criteria for applying to the Digital Learning Program.

2. Application Timeline
Applications are accepted twice a year: the first round in February and the second round in August.
Each submission period lasts one month. Detailed schedules will be announced each semester.
3. Application Steps
- Teachers: Complete Documents 3–5 (Course Description, Self-Evaluation Form, and Copyright Declaration) and submit them to the Digital Teaching Division
- Digital Teaching Division: Review the documents and provide suggestions for corrections or additional materials
- Teachers: Make corrections and provide additional materials as advised
- Digital Teaching Division: Upload Documents 3–5 to the certification website and assist in completing Documents 6–8 (Application Form, Data Sheet, Verification Form, and Self-Check Form)
- Teachers: Sign Documents 6–8
- Digital Teaching Division: Complete the online application process and submit the electronic official document

Teachers applying for certification only need to complete Documents 3–5. Other documents will be prepared and completed with the assistance of the responsible office.
5. Review Criteria and Passing Standards

- Passing Standards:

- All mandatory indicators must achieve at least an A grade.
- The average grade across all categories must be at least an A.
7. Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
Q: Can I apply for digital learning course certification for a course I taught in previous semesters?
Yes. Digital learning course certification is not limited to courses offered in the current semester.
Q: If my course does not pass the digital learning course certification, can I apply again?
Yes.
However, if the course previously failed due to missing teaching or learning activities that need to be implemented to meet the criteria, it must be properly implemented before resubmission.
Q: If a course is co-taught by multiple instructors, can it apply for digital learning course certification?
Yes, but the following rules apply:
A maximum of 4 instructors per class can be certified. Each instructor must actively teach and have a comparable teaching workload.
If, upon review, an instructor’s teaching workload is insufficient or limited to in-person teaching only, no certificate will be issued.
Q: How long is the certification valid after a course passes?
Certification is valid for five years. Courses must be re-certified after the expiration period.
